Sports netting by the metre

In short. When the job does not fit a standard product, we quote netting by the metre from the factory range: 12 mesh and twine combinations our manufacturing partner holds and photographs in hand, from a 10 mm (0.39 in) fine mesh to a 100 mm (3.94 in) perimeter mesh, all polyester. You pick mesh, twine, colour and panel size; we handle the specification and the quote.

When to use it

Use it when

Your dimensions, mesh or colour do not match a standard product and you want netting specified from combinations the factory actually documents.

Do not use it when

You need a finished net with band, cable or fittings ready to hang: those are separate programmes, so ask for the finished product instead of raw netting.

Common buying mistake. Ordering by the metre without stating the finished panel dimensions and edge finish. Cutting and sewing are part of the service; a drawing with dimensions avoids paying twice for rework.

Documented sourceable specifications

Documented from our manufacturing partner's catalogue and factory sample photos. Listed MOQs are the supplier's technical minimums, not a commercial offer: the commercially viable order quantity, final material, dimensions, packing, lead time and delivery terms are confirmed on a documented quote. These are examples of what can be sourced, not stock.

Frequently asked questions

How do I specify netting by the metre?

Four choices: mesh size, twine diameter, colour, and finished panel dimensions. The table above lists the 12 mesh and twine combinations documented at the factory; pick the closest and we confirm it against the sample photos.

How do I know these combinations actually exist?

Each combination in the table is photographed at the factory, most of them held in hand so the twine construction is visible. We share the photo of your exact combination with the quote.

Can panels be sewn with reinforced edges?

The supplier's processing includes cutting and sewing. Factory photos show finished edges on several samples. State the edge finish you need and we confirm it in the quote.

What if I need a combination that is not in the table?

The table is what is documented today, not necessarily the full production range. Ask for the combination you need and we put it to the supplier; we only confirm it once the supplier documents it.

Is there a minimum order?

Minimums vary by line: some products are listed from 1 sq m, others from 500 or 1,000 sq m. We state the applicable minimum in the quote rather than a blanket figure.

We reply within 48 hours with questions or a documented quote.
